MY BROTHER PASSED AWAY 2/4/02 BUT HIS SPIRIT STILL LIVES
FOR THOSE WHO KNEW HIM,YOU KNOW WHAT HE MEANT. HE DONATED HIS HEART AND NOW A PRIEST HAS IT.MAY SOUND FUNNY BUT IMAGEN A PRIEST WAKING UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT DANCING CAUSE MY BROTHER LOVED MUSIC. ASIDE FROM BEING AN EX BOXER HE TREATED PEOPLE WITH RESPECT AND HE WOULD TAKE HIS SHIRT OF HIS BACK AND GIVE IT TO YOU IF YOU NEEDED SOMETHING.MY BROTHER ATTENDED TO GINOS IN 1977 TILL 1985 THEN HE WOULD ATTEND CIRCUS,FLORENTINES AND OCASSIONALLY TEDDYBOY FUNCTIONS THERE AFTER.TILL THIS DAY I REMEMBER SPENDING MY LAST XMAS WITH MY BROTHER DANCING OURSELVES TILL 6 AM IN THE MORNING.WHO WOULD OF KNOWN THAT THIS WOULD BE OUR LAST DANCE TOGETHER THAT I SHARED WITH HIM.AS I TYPE THIS MY TEARS COME OUT ..THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU
thank you for sharing that... its sounds like your brother was very special.. he's not only alive in that priest that received his heart... but alive in you also.. and its a beatiful thing to remember your brother like that.. i'll always remember your story... its one that touches the heart.. and as i read it tonight.. i got a little teary eyed also... my younger sis was just told that she needs a heart & lung transplant.. she was born with a heart problem and wasnt expected to live passed her 8th b-day.. shes 28 now.. and just 2 weeks ago.. she had a seizure and like 20 heart attacks that followed..they kept shocking her to bring her back.. she went through hell that night... after seeing a couple of specialist.. they implanted a defibrillator (sort of like a pacemaker) well she barely made it through that surgery.. but now her heart is just not doing so good.. she was hospitalized friday... and i have had a hard time... trying to face her.. i was there for her in the past talking her through it .. but this time i was left speechless. i didnt know how to face her and what to say to her.. when we thought the worst was over.. but then i read your story and i was touched.. because i needed to hear something .. and although you suffered a great loss.. there was a miracle that came out of it.. and i guess i need to be reminded of that.. I am so sorry about the loss of your brother.I know that no words will ever ease the pain.I cannot say that I know what you are going through because I have never lost a loved one that was so close to me.Im sure that your brother watches over you and holds your hand through the tough challenges that life brings.
The fact that his heart is beating in another person and bringing the priest a new life is reason enough to know that his spirit is still alive..My condolenses go out to you and your mother and again I am sorry for your loss.
