Oh I'm going to be there for sure and I'm trying to get others to go too (co-workers that went in the late 70's).

Doh!!! I just remembered that my sister used to go too (memory loss .. hahaha) . Anyway we both went together (as a couple... hee hee hee) the very first time we set foot in CIRCUS. I think she's going to flip when I tell her too.

it's been year's since I went there but driving by the place brings back lot's of good old memories....I usually go by Circus every few months or so, kids auditions, but it looks the same from the outside, what changes did they do in the inside??? It will bring me to tears being there...it will not only be my birthday that day, but I also met my husband there long ago....and we are still together after 20 years....I'm already teary eyed about going there.....just thinking about it makes me feel like jumping for joy!!!! I cannot wait till the party....thank's from the "bottom of my heart for doing this party event at CIRCUS!!!! "....

Oh girl, lots of changes on the inside and the patio area! They've been renovating the inside these last few weeks. The main dancefloor is even bigger now and the upstairs is now another dance room with a new fancy bar (looks like big ice cubes) and with lots of couches and cool looking little spots to sit and chill. In about 4 weeks, CIRCUS will have a new large chill room with some really kick @ss (can I say that here?) furnishing and decor. That room will be almost a long as the dancefloor, I was the first to get a sneak preview this past Saturday and I was flabbergasted!!!!

This is the main dancefloor, standing by the coat check and facing towards the upstairs area/balcony.

Oh my gosh that dancing kitty is so cool! Blondie,I missed these postings and yes,I will be there.I will have to leave early cause it is a Sunday and you know babysitters dont come too easy.

Looks like it will be a blast...I havent been to Circus Disco since 1985! I passed by there in November and someone told me that the name had changed or something.Maybe they meant that the name Peanuts had changed since it is down the street.Maybe we just had too much too drink that day.... but I look forward to going!

THAT'S WHY i HAVEN'T BEEN TO ANY PARTIES LATELY.....SAVING MY DANCING ENERGY....PLUS TOO MUCH WHEN YOUR TOO OLD CAN MAKE IT BORING AFTER AWHILE...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT SERIOUSLY,.( better not mention any location names or I will get called an instigator again) LOL!!!!!! IT'S TOO EXEPENSIVE...THREE SHOTS OF TEQUILLA WAS $40.00.....AND A SMALL MIXED DRINK WAS $9.00 EACH!!!!! PLUS I HEARD THE DRINK WERE GOING UP....AND TO GET IN WAS $15.00 A PIECE....WHAT HAPPEN TO $10.00 LIKE Q'C'S, THE OTHER PLACE IS TOO MUCH FOR EVEN A RICH PERSON, WHICH I'M NOT!!!!! Everytime a new song came out I would go to Roadhouse records and pick it up! I have my little collection stashed away...even my Rockabilly ones!!

just heard a song on the radio just now....it had, "I wonder if I take you home, would you still be in love baby" it was sort of a rapper thing too.....I guess DISCO is coming back, even 50 cents....used DISCO INFERNO in his recent song.....they say everything eventually comes back, the fashion industry is proof to that as well, let's hope DISCO comes back, a new generation appreciating a song, a song with words, not yelling or cussing....DISCO IS ALIVE IN 05 !!!!!!! That's what I always say!!!!!!
