I was very lucky to see Willie Bobbo a few months before he passed away at concerts by the sea. Some dear old freiends Joe & Lydia Medina (DJ Desare') also were great fans of Willie Bobbo. I have several of his old records/recordings that I play at weddings or at STEVENS Steak House when I do events their. He was a true latin legend.

Oh my goodness....you are a true master of music then...I had a feeling that most DJ's start out loving music....actually most music...then they branch out into a style all their own. I have heard you play an awesome Disco set...which I happen to absolutely LOVE! And I am so happy my husband loves it too. In fact if he didn't love Disco....we probably wouldn't have gotten married...must have the same interests you know
You are so fortunate to have seen Willie Bobo....I never had the opportunity to see him in concert...but I love his music. Dindi is one of the most romantic singles by him that I know of. My 2nd favorite is Hurt So Bad....which I unfortunately loaned out to someone and they liked it so much...they kept it But someday I'll buy it again. Spanish Grease was my all time favorite album!
When you play Willie's sets I bet you get a group of people running to the dance floor! He was a master of Latin Jazz....He left us too soon
