May 28 I will be turning 50! Man when I think about it.  I have dedicated 27 years to the Art of DJing and have met many new friends and have always embraced them with nothing but love and respect.

Being the only child in my family has taught me a good lesson in life, that all people are my brothers and sisters to be cherish and loved. Yeah, sometimes I don't get it in return. But it sure feels good when I come across someone that I have not seen for many years and they remember me by name. I can’t help but think what an impact and impression we make on each other and how love and friendships truly endure the test of time.

I would like to thank everyone who has been nice to me and can only wish you the best. As many of my brothers and sister are celebrating May birthdays and those of you that birthdays have passed and birthdays to come happy Birthday too you!

Joe...........

Wow Happy Happy Pre-Birthday! How wondeful turning 50!  Join the "50" and over Club....it's awesome and amazing...one of the best parts about being 50 is that you don't have to prove yourself to anyone....most people are happy for you with your successes.....it's when you're in your 20's and 30's that your peers compete with you!  I am so happy to have lived in a few eras and have seen the technology unfold before my eyes.  And still young enough to enjoy them... My children are grown...although my youngest is 16....she keeps me young in spirit   Amazing 27 years of DJ'ing...I know I met you many years ago, in the "baby" stages of Disco...which I 'm proud to say I've been there....and time has moved us on....my daughters thought were you were great at my brother Mario's Birthday Party and just recently met you "again" at the Quiet Cannon and found you to be a classy, caring, intelligent, charming, warm, friendly, gentle,  FUN, spirit...with much more to offer all of us and will always look forward to seeing you again!

Sincerely,

Cindy

Cindy,

Thank you, yes I do agree our paths have crossed at several venues. I am honored that your daughters took note of me. Tell them Hi for me and I hope to see them at Circus on Sunday and the Quiet Cannon on May 14. I am truly flattered that they said all those nice things about me.

I always tell my lovely wife. Honey always have a smile on your face never know who’s watching you and to be a true gentlemen is to make those around you as comfortable as possible.

It brings me great joy to celebrate another year and always thank the man above for another day of living.  Yes I’m looking forward to seeing you and your family soon.

Thanks again for the pre-birthday wishes.

-Joe-

Irma,

You cannot believe how happy I was to finally meet you at Circus Disco. You have a beautiful personality. I clearly remember my high school friends telling me “Joe don’t change you have a way of making people feel good about themselves” These words are burned into my memory.

Thanks for the pre-birthday wishes and I hope you never change.

-Joe-

Eva,

Yikes! So you remember me from back in the day.  What can I say I am a happy guy. I think it helps people around you feel more comfortable and tends to bring out the best in them… don’t you agree?

Man I did not realize I was all those wonderful things you mentioned. Thank you!  Yes, I do take Djing very serious. Most people do not realize what goes on behind the screens, they just show up to an event have fun and leave, not realizing how much work and responsibility is put on the DJ providing the Sound and Lighting, Spinning the Vinyl and/or playing CDs.

It’s people like yourself that make it all the worth while and believe me when I tell you 20 years down the line someone will remember! I have been truly blessed to have been around for so many years and continue to strive to be one of the best.  I do this not only for peace of mind. But for people like yourself that will always remember the Rock of the 80’s, Michael’s restaurant, Brandis, and so many more good times.

Thank you for your encouraging words believe me as so many others have taken note of your beauty, wisdom and your strive for unity.  After all... we may be a dying breed but Disco music will be around long after we are all gone.

Thanks again for the Pre-birthday wishes love and kisses to you and your family.

-Joe-

Joe,

The feeling is mutual,I enjoy meeting new people and I always admire what you posted on this and other forums.I didnt get a chance to sit down and talk too much on Sunday. I was out enjoying all the changes they made at Circus. It looked great! The next time I go I will enjoy the VIP room a little more and sit down and chat,I think I seen champagne and i didnt try the caviar either. You too have a great personality..as Blondie says, maybe we have seen each other in the past,I used to go to Brandies a lot.I grew up in Commerce so it was easily accessible to me.

Your High School friend was right, dont change..you do have  away of making people feel good about themselves(special too)!!

Take care Joe and have a great weekend!!

Hi Joe....

Very sweet of you ....yes they did...and they usually want to leave early if it's not their "crowd" if you know what I mean...but those two left late...and made me feel good that they really enjoyed your music....the Crowd....

....I have to tell you..yesterday was amazing...Brittany, age 16 told me "I like Disco mom"  I couldn't believe my ears I was so happy!

She was playing that song you posted awhile back.  "There but  for the Grace of God go I" is that the correct title?  not sure...anyway...it was playing on 104.3 and she had her boom box on Thought I'd share that with you...who knows ....we might get a sweep of teens falling in love with Disco.....

Thanks again....

Cindy

Scared?  Nothing to be scared about Joe... it's just a number and you're only as old as you feel.  Welcome to the 50's club and may your next 50 yrs be as good as your last if not better.
