Betrayal of friend's feelings, whether intentional or not, can rip friendship apart, and leave all feeling empty. When hurt by others you care about very much, and the pain is too great to bear. Friendship is like a shooting star flaring briefly across the heavens, a moment in time that we will treasure forever. Maybe, with time, the garden where friendship grew will blossom again. Do we never talk to them again, or do we try to make things right? We don’t know. Until we figure that out, this poem is my emotional release.

I like quotes to help me through some difficult times....here are some of my favorites....hope you find comfort knowing that you have people who will be by your side through thick and thin......friends come and go but those who really are ture friends will not betray you in the first place....like another saying goes.....if it was meant to be, let it go, and if it returns, than it ws meant to be....and if not it was never there in the first place....take care and i will say a little prayer for you to be happy instead of sad.... hugs to you and anyone else who is going through a difficult time period.... I was out of town since last Wednesday...got back Friday night....and I just saw your message about friendship...poignant....sad.... thought I'd respond...I hope you don't mind I have been there...I lost 4 of my best girlfriends....in 1995....mostly my choice but they caused alot of hurt against me..I won't go into it....I felt better that I blew them off....One of them called me a year later....trying to apologize...my husband took the call...and talked to her for an hour as I tidied up the kitchen...I had no desire to speak with her. She couldn't stand my husband before we were married, always putting him down....but that's not why we dissolved our friendship....anyway...just wanted you to know that I care about you...miss your nice and happy personality....even though I briefly knew you and your husband...you've both been very nice to Dan & I....

We all are on the right track allan, disco princess, virgie, joanne....I have had this discussion with people as well...."how can people be so cruel"....etc....etc....etc.... It is unfortunate that sometimes people don't see what is in our hearts, and that peer influence, outside forces, or sometimes our own hurt keeps us from forgiving...Sometimes the hurt goes to deep or goes on for along period of time without a "AM SORRY", or an apology.....and when that happens, its best to let it go.....maybe we are all better off not oeing around that person who hurt us for whatever reason...be it small or be it something big.... but I hope with time a solution can be reached and the healing process can take place in our hearts....Silly and Frankie, I hope you both had a great weekend and we all love you and appreciate you both for standing strong and trying to make this Disco Revolution a successful one....God bless and have a nice day you two...
I'd like to thank each and everyone who responded, it really means alot to me. The healing process has begun however, sometimes for some reason it comes to a hault and starts all over again. Only time can heal all... Thanks again.

One of the surest evidences of friendship that one individual can display to another is telling him gently of a fault. If any other can excel it, it is listening to such a disclosure with gratitude, and amending the error.
