good morning everyone.. let me just first start by saying.. Danny & Willie.. family is thee most important gift in our lives. The time & love you invest is something you only have one chance to get right. My thoughts, and prayers and love go out to you & your family. I miss all of you.


here goes..


i have been in & out of it for months.. the changes and new websites that have flourished.. dont exactly thrill me... and here is why..i took it upon myself to send an email to people who i thought are key to this whole thing. OUR THING. but after much thought.. it is really up to all of the dedicated people who spend hours at a time on the sites , giving support, making lives brighter, lending a hand.. & when we get split up like children of divorce (sorry to make that comparison) it sux. and in some instances.. it hurts.friendships are broken. and then the rumors.. everyone is guilty at it at somepoint.  to everyone.. i am posting a copy of the email, i want you all to have an opinion. whether you think i am wrong or right or maybe you think i am full of it.. but if you know me.. you know that i have no hidden agenda.. have alot of love for everyone. and that i have taken this step because when i feel like we as a whole are getting the bounced around.. someone has to say something.. and i may be sticking my foot in my mouth but if it gets the ball rolling and we can "come together", then i'll take the risk...please read what was sent ... and then please join me .. i have an idea.. it maybe drastic.. but lets test, the american way...

Ok before you begin , before we begin.. you may be thinking… who the hell is she to butt in..


I care. Its that simple.. last march when I was told about BTD, I logged on and couldn’t believe what I saw. The idea that there were others out there , such as I, in love with “our era”. As it all unfolded.. the parties the hooking up with new friends and who I like to think of as an extended crazy family, no one could have been more excited & happy as I. I was blown away by the PASSION of DISCO WILLIE & Martin RHS, the vision of JV, the kindness and exceptance of an OLD PEGASUS ROADIE, RICHARD SOTO & Deanne, the love and support I received from Al, Olivia & Jaime, Eric A, DJ RENE AND ESPECIALLY THE STAND UP, TRUE BLUE DANNY DEBONAIR. WHO IS CONSTANTLY GIVING PROPS & making sure he never steps on any ones feet , and is always willing to help(AND AS MUCH AS I WANT TO MENTION EVERYONE, I CANT ITS 7 AM AND I AM BARELY AWAKE, BUT NOT ASLEEP AS THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS REALLY BOTHERING ME) Frankie & silly, djron, Louie & Kel, Art ochoa, I can go on and on, and I would love to but I want to get out what bouncing around in my head , and wont let me be.These people that came out time after time to support.


 Yes I feel its my responsibility. I just think with all that I have been given, I need to give back. So here  goes. And please do not take offense. DO not read into ****. Its my opinion. And because I love this whole COMEBACK, I WANT IT TO STAY. I have never had anything truly invested. Not as far as monetary value. I cant dj But I was in it heart first and its here to stay. Like it or not. Though my family issues have made me out to be a flake, it’s the hardest family issue I believe I will go through in my life. Its no secret how close I am to my grandmother and slowly losing her is whats tearing me apart. And I fear, if I don’t have this , my friends, my fellow disco bisquits , btd & gruvworks and everyone that comes with it.. well I don’t know what will happen ..


WHAT I AM SAYING IS.. GUYS.. GET IT TOGETHER PLEASE.. (AND DON’T TAKE IT THE WRONG WAY, DON’T ARGUE WITH WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY.. ) All this bickering , backstabbing.. competition.. its not for any of us.. how old are we.. we are hell lucky to be given this chance once again.. but just like in highschool… once everyone breaks apart and forms their own 2 man dj, promoter , groupie fan club.. nothing survives.. its what killed it back then.. and it will kill it this time around.. OKAY FOR THE ONES THAT AT THIS POINT ARE ASKING WHO THE HELL DO I THINK I AM… again I CARE. And I DON’T REALLY BRING ANYTHING TO THE TABLE.. BUT NO ONE CAN SELL (PROMOTE) SOMETHING THEY LOVE,BETTER THAN I .. AND I mean that in the best sense of the word…I can talk and spread the word about something and get everyone excited and come out to the events. And I do it simply because I believe in what was started.. but  I am sad to hear all the drama that has happened.. over the last 7 or 8 months.. backstabbing, accusations, jealousy, posting of dirty laundry, posting of petty arguments… okay sure every family has the aunt that loves to gossip, the **** brother that is jealous, the lazy drunk uncle.. ok who doesn’t.. whatever we still love our family.. and good or bad we stick by them right? When we came together, all of us.. it was good wasn’t it.. and people that we were bringing in from the outside were impressed weren’t they.. ??? I know that my family was happy that I was becoming  happy again and involved with something that meant a lot to me.. hell my name on btd was as long as ANNETTE DDPPBTDGWHO40C… the last characters are inside joke but.. okay what young lady at 34 is still claiming divine dolls and pretty pleazerz.. not to mention adopting backtodisco and gruvworks as my titiles… doesn’t that say something about me.. ?? last May I personally was going through hellwith my health issues.. but going to the btd & gw events and planning them … were my salvation. And I want to help you guys in return.. I will simply say… lets get back to simpler times.. we don’t all have to have a website.. lets just unite.. form one union and have parties.. believe me you are confusing and pushing away the masses.. and as for the sneaky cousins in our family lets deal with them and sift them out.. or keep them around with conditions.. but we all have lives, responsibilities and maintaining a message board is a big job.. especially when you are getting calls at work to report so and so, or  to ask for this or that.. I am not saying its not worth it to some.. but do we all have that kind of time.. I don’t have kids or real responsibilities.. and I cant even manage to log on to all the disco dot coms.. its like homework.


I HAVE LOTS OF IDEAS.. AND TIME.. AND I AM SOOO WILLING TO HELP..  JUST ASK.. But more than anything.. I want everyone to be one..because if we don’t, form sort of union.. this is all gonna go down in vain. And for what? 6th grade bs? When great causes such as  the childrens fundraiser can be done??? There are so many organizations & charities we can help. And nothing feels better than knowing we’ve made a difference. Isn’t it about time we did something & gave back? We had it good back then.. shouldn’t kids now have that tooo? And before I get all crazy and lose your interest.. hit me back.. let me know if you are willing to sit down with your peers.. it doesn’t matter who it is.. we all ARE ADULTS.. WE ALL BLEED RED.. AND WE SAY WE ARE IN IT FOR THE MUSIC AND THE PEOPLE.. put your personal differences aside and remain a “crazy family”.

I’ve always been envious of  the guy on the ones and twos spinning the love that unites us all.. but to see the side of him that makes him more like my cheese-mosa (I don’t know how to spell it) tia scares the hell out of me..  and its not penis envy i dont fly that way... but to able move people through music is a gift.. dont waste it.

Hello CHaCHafor Life (Nena)


I read your post and Letter to the particular people....it's good to get things out on paper or in e-mail...and that you have an opinion and ideas and feelings.  Have you had any positive responses?  I hope so. I am from the old days when Disco began and I remember when all the promoters & DJ's didn't fight, or if they did, it was extremely rare, there was  a comraderie, honor, friendship that was remarkable in which I'll never forget.


I brieflly saw some of that same comraderie and  happiness among these "major players, promoters, dj's"  when Dan, my husband and I went to the first Back to Disco Halloween Spooktacular last October 2004....was very nice...we met alot of these "major players" that we see today. I hope everything works out for all of these people involved because as I have stated in earlier posts...each and every one of them from all of these sites, that Dan & I have met in person,  have been absolutely wonderful and kind to us...welcomed us....and made us feel comfortable and made us want to  come back again to party, dance, enjoy their company  However, yes it is a bit uncomfortable to know of the circumstances,  however, I am in the "dark" on alot of the particulars involved ....and sometimes, for me it is maybe better that way......
