hola everyone in Discolandia, this Is Sabby. I came across this website and felt I should join in and be a part of this grand community of devotees. What a pleasure it is to see reflections of a glorious time. I still have all my vinyl and 1200's. I salute you for keeping it real because the new kids will never know what we experienced. The Backyard parties, E-bell, the center, Club 47, ELAC, the rollerdrome, CHRIS ROBERTS, ROBERT OF ELEKTRA, CESAR DENERO, just to name a few. The list goes on and on. Cruising down Whittier from East Los all the way to Lahabra. Going to flat top or Arroyo and making out. BarB-ques and Sundays at the Winery. May you be blessed for all who participated. We made love, got into fights, got busted but in reality.. it was all good. 11223344

 party!!!!!

Arthur gave me a copy of a Disco Mix tape of yours, i  know I have it somewhere boxed away. I have to look for it.  Thats cool, glad you're doing good.

Take care~

Sabby~

Hi...Art Parada lived in City Terrace LA....back house with mom/dad. Dad was blind. Had a son -Aj.  Has a sister Gloria and i forget the other one?

Tall, very handsome.  Looked like a model to me.

He was a hairdresser in El Sereno, drove a blk Hundai.  No, not in a car accident.

We hung out mainly at CIRCUS.  Got him to go to michaels a few times but usually Circus.  He loved to Hustle. He went to Roosevelt.

He was more than a good friend.  We were real close and he was a big part of my and a few others lives.  I'm pretty sure you are the sabby I'm thinking of.  I may have a pic of you too. SOMEWHERE?  lol*  I do have alot of him & I , friends.

Well, he is surely missed.

Hope you make it to Qc's feb. 11.  Ask someone to introduce us okay.  Lots of people know me.

Hey- do you remember The Due't Girlz ? Used to promote & throw parties in Alhambra mainly?  lol*   That was me...& friends. Long time ago...back in the 80's

Anyway- take care...
