It's all good - I thought I was a "surfer" in 8th grade - listening to Raymundo and the Blade on KROQ - wearing nothing but OP and that other damn brand with the Lightening Bolt! Then I crossed over and became a "Rockabilly Rebels Wannabe" and wore nothing but Levis, white t-shirts and a fake ass leather jacket!
LMFAO thinking of BC Rich and the Members Only Jackets! Remember them!!! They should have a tribute site up somewhere! I remember I always wanted a black Members Only Jacket but my mom never got me one - maybe thats why I still have issues with her! LMFAO
Any ways, then after we graduated from 9th grade, during the summer before we went up to Wilson, we discovered Downtown LA and "The Factory" - I even did some shopping from International Male! Thats when we pretty much transitioned over to "disco type" dudes. My sister who is two years older than me and was into Disco since I could remember - she hooked me up with the shops on Melrose and thrift stores too. Back when FLips of Hollywood first opened - man we used to get a grip of clothes for like $20.00!
