getting things together for a salsa/disco club in the valley for friday nights working on it right now, need your help on that one?, (also the 18th of march @ qc's with -lime-tapps and stacy q ) flyers should be out soon, what about bellflower ??? summer time b.b.q...

The Bellflower situation, well you know, looks like Papas N Beer in LA this summer. The line up at QC's sounds good. Remember at the Copa back in the 80's when Lime was scheduled to perform, but only the guy showed up? He sang "Babe We're Going To love Tonight" by himself. I guess he and the other half of Lime were split up.

I'll let you know the status of Brandi's party in April. Should be a good one. Do you want to spin?

She's going to have it at the original location in downtown on April 23rd. Confirmed today. Two rooms, two systems, casino tables, the works. Yeah, you can bring the stuff they like. I don't understand how they can listen to that stuff all night, but that's why we'll have two systems. Some of that older stuff like Eazy E, NWA, Beastie Boys, that stuff, you know should be good. We'll just really mix it up for them.

And my brother said yes to helping out.

I'm telling you Danny, I say we throw an El Sereno Reunion party somewhere. Can you imagine? Could we get everybody together for one bash? Awesome Foursome, Rock N Rebels, Guilty Ones, Poplar Boys, Irresistable Brats, Poplar Girls, and all the rest I forgot, and everybody that use to kick it at McDonalds, the Copa, Arroyo Seco, Hong Kong Cafe, etc... we'll get Danny Poison to to bring back all the Wild Style heads, and have Mini trucks cruising in the front with VW bugs, and motorcycles, and you can't get in unless your hair is teased and jeans tapered super tight at the bottom and fights in the parking lot, and...... Whoa...just had a major flashback... back to work now.

That would be cool , but can we minus the fights in the parking lots. I have my fair share of those memories! Like the one on Gateside in El Sereno....I just remember A LOT of beer bottles being thrown everywhere.

You're right. No fights in the parking lot. Just thought I'd throw that in there for the full effect of a mind visual of the past. But, I do remember that night at Gateside.
