Cindy,

You are my Disco Sister.

I am overwhelmed with the kindness that people are showing to one another on the websites. I need your help. Please help me. There is no need for you to answer this request on the message boards. I will here of the good work you are doing. People will not be able to contain themselves as I to pondered on how I would reply to your beautiful story. I read your message on Sunday morning. I had just finished a sixteen-hour shift. I could not reply to your powerful message without much thought and rest Cindy. If I could have responded with a few sentences that I thought would have done your message the justice it deserved....I would have....but your message was too strong. I needed to think...Yes; I can see that you definitely have a wonderful way of communicating the written word to us. Some of us have trouble hearing the message. Your story paints a picture that we can visualize.

Destiny will bring us together. I look forward to meeting you and your husband Dan.

Your Brother in Disco,

Rudy, Sylvia and Larry

To know you were happy with your husband on your birthday makes my heart very happy. People sometimes think we have an idealistic view of the world. Yes, our thoughts our idealistic, but ours are goals are very realistic. I read your words, and many people feel as you do. But they are your words:" Me and my husband had the best time, the best time because we met you and so many good people." "It was as if we had known everyone for years and years." Blondie you now know the feeling of being a family of friends. This is what it was like in the 70s. Sometimes we think we cannot recapture the days gone by. Key words: Good people, as if we had known them for years, very comfortable. Promoters need to understand the needs of the people. I hear you sister and I am taking notes. What makes people come back to form a loyal community we call "The Old Days" an era? Disco 101...hmmm...let me think
Sometime we need to be hit over the head with a brick
Thank you for telling us what we can do to make your visit a happy experience.
Your friend,
Rude Dawg

Hello Blondie,

I remember back then in the party days, the only feuds we had were about guys and the competition as to who was with who. There was no fighting over Silly things..If we had websites such as these back then, the talks would be about what you are going to wear for the night or where you were going. Now that all of us are adults we choose to fight with people over petty things? What happened? I thought that was all over with but I guess not.I met you and a several great people over these past few months and I hope to meet many more

My love for disco keeps me here That is why I came aboard in the first placeGreat websites, great people

Disco-legends~Discoxpress~Gruvworks....I haven't checked out Afterdark disco...will do

P.You lucky girl, your mom didnt hit you? My parents did all the time,I got it worse then all of us! In a way it worked for my kids cause Ive never hit them till this day

we have come to a place where all is good and all is harmonious, no animosity!!!!!
and what we have endured in the past is in the past......(but my husband was ready
to make some calls......but I won't let him), I believe things can be solved with love in return for all the bad being done......if Jesus can forgive, and the pope can forgive the person who shot him, than we can also forgive, it's difficult but if we try hard, we can do it......leave the past behind, it has made us stronger than ever......and like I told Willie, look to the future and see the light at the end of the tunnel.....we are all better off and we are all a BIG HAPPY FAMILY.......AMEN to that!!!!!!!!
SO WE CAN PARTY ON AND HAVE A GREAT TIME AND BECOME ONE AGAIN....THE OLD DAYS MAY NOT RETURN BUT WE SHOULD COULD HAVE FUN BEING ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILIA......WE GOTTA MAKE THIS FAMILY GROW AND GROW AND GROW.....

Good Morning Rudy Disco Brother....

You are too kind with compliments to me.... I just post the spirit and soul of my being...hmmm am I sounding like Santana now?  Anyway....I just write about the impression I get from the goodness and honesty of the some of the people here with the hearts, souls, and minds as you and a few others,  who also love harmony and comraderie... have expressed....

I just wanted to express how thankful and Dan and I are that we have been welcomed with open arms by everyone that we have met from all of these Disco Sites/boards ....and they are now our newfound friends.  I haven't met you, Rudy in person yet...but hope to in the near future!  I think I'm going to write a sequel to my "Growing Up in a Mexican American Home" story....by popular demand, from some of my friends and new friends.   It will probably be in little "memory mode" stories....novelas. Ok now let's get back to DISCO!

   Thanks a bunch!

   Cindy
