Wow Joe, when I read this I was in shock.....I am not only a housewife but I also have a home based business......yes you men out there, take the little woman out of the house for once, (well more than once), and get her to put those high healed shoes on and boogie or hustle down to the next event, I pretty sure, almost a thousand percent sure, she will have the best time of her life, and you will get rewarded in the best way possible....a foot rub!!!!!! hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! Very true....
....allow me to tell you a litte bit about Dan, my husband....the great thing about Dan is he LOVES to party! And he'll help with housework if he wants to go out ....tee hee. He tried cooking a few times....eeeeek Ok He tried cooking steaks and Voila....beef jerky anybody? So he just sticks to Hamburgers if he cooks...they come out delicious! He loves burning things....like chorizo...do you have any idea how burnt chorizo smells? You know what though....he tries and that's what counts...and I have to give him credit....poor guy....he makes an effort to make me happy.
One time I missed my daughter Brit receiving an award at school given by the principal....I went home crying ...Dan secretly called the school and arranged for the Principal to acknowledge Brittany in her classroom with the award again and have me arrive just in time...amazing ( was a huge surprise). Dan does that type of stuff all the time!
He's Brit's stepfather.... he also got her into softball league, 3 seasons in a row...her dad came out and took pictures...and left, he was too busy with his oil business, the first 2 seasons...the 3rd season...I told her dad...you have to see her get her ups, please. So he stayed... he complimented Dan for taking such good care of his daughter Brit Some of the mothers of the kids on Brit's team thought Dan was her real father....cuz he was always there at every practice and game with his clip board ...cheering guess that's why I do something extra special for him when Father's Day comes around!
I see you wrote about your mom, Bless her in Heaven, she raised a fine son....my mom's up in Heaven too...I take her flowers on Sunday ...my daughters usually come with me
