Whomever posted that really can somewhat imagine the work that goes behind the scene..Kudo's to them..

Most promoters are basically charging about $10 and if we do the math it doesn't provide an overwhelming amount of profits to them. Too many people involved, to many major costly overheads in order to provide an excellent environment. I myself have not been an investor. Well at least not yet. Currently I am merely overseeing and contributing my comments to the best of my abilities without charging a cent...and this is the truth...I support this Disco-Legends efforts and I am with the original Pegasus. Anyway we will see if god pleases how things will go...Lets hope for a Disco Revolution resurgence! My wish is that all our friends here and our comrade Website would pass the word to neighbors, friends and relatives..we need to create a great family circle of disco loving friends...DISCO POWER TO YOU ALL!!

As you know,Mothers Day is celebrated today in Mexico and although my mom has been in this country for 40 years,she still celebrates today.I had lunch with her and my grandma, so I am gonna catch up to whatever I missed before I reply to this.I just thought id say hello and read on..etc..

Hi Joey....

I didn't see it or read it....but I was involved with putting on shows for years and they were the Baseball Card Shows my nephew hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center and other convention centers and they were HUGE..I met Don Drysdale..and the original Baseball Women Legends..Then you get the baseball legends who will only sign an autograph for more than $5.00...it's hard on the little kids who come to see their heroes..since they have to pay just to get inside the door..It's alot of work and you will always get the pessimistic person in every venue of life...whether it be business...home...school..shows..we all know how hard these administrators work on these Disco Sites...as I've posted before....but it doesn't matter to a negative person...they only see what they want to see...unfortunately.

I believe that everyone who posts positive responses or new positive posts here or on other Disco Sites are all working towards a common goal of these administrators and that is to bring everyone together for FUN with these Disco events....yes there are costs involved and I am sure that many of these people have volunteered their precious time. I am an accountant and can definitely understand the overhead costs involved in creating and organizating these events.

Several years ago I wanted to open a dance hall for senior citizens....playing nothing but Big Band Music for them....it is on the back burner....too many negative people with all the reasons why I shouldn't have it. Things like, you are not going to make money on old people...we're talking over 65 year old people. I had no intention on making money on the retirees. and oh boy, what if they have a heart attack on the dance floor. All I wanted to do was have something nice for them to be able to reminisce and enjoy....

Hi joey, thanks for your post too....you people work too hard....and it's to make other happy....regardless of what your job is, even the DJ's have a job set out for them...I use to work in Publicity and Special Events and also some other area of retail, So I've been in the corporate work and know first hand how difficult it is....So thanks again and hope to see you soon, God bless....
