hi TSG and Arthur.....gonna be another good one.......we gotta start to get more people involved......we should pass out flyers at some dance studios.....or get the people as they leave the clubs.....we gotta do some mass advertising here.....let me know if you need help.....word of mouth is powerful, like silly d says......right on girl!!!!

THANKS A MILLION ladies for your help. Yes we need all the help we can get. The dance contest is between 9:30 and 10:00. People need to leave early. We are also celebrating 5 Birthdays.

Ad campaign is a great thing.....A REAL AD CAMPAIGN!!!!! Not a blah, blah, blah, one....
Real people helping to get this rolling......I can help, my experience in the Advertising industry can be of help....we gotta get that excitement going......everyone pull out those old phone books and little back books......let's do it......I'm excited now!!!

oooh this Sunday is sounding like a good one with those 5 birthdays and the dance contest. 


I agree with more advertising and it does need to be done in other forms other than "word of mouth."   I think we need to get some of the younger crowd into this music too.  I know there's people that like it but because they can't dance it, they kind of feel odd about going to place where disco/high energy music is being played.


I think having some classes during the early hrs would be a good thing to do.  It's done in the Salsa clubs so I don't see why it shouldn't work here. 


Well I've got my dancing chanklas ready, how about you?

Hey I'll be the first onto sign up.....I never learned to hustle.....LOL!!!!
Even us old folks will be in the classes.....We gotta get Sylvia and Rudy to teach us to hustle......gonna get ahold of them.....see if they are willing......see a team effort will pay off.......we already got the ball rolling.....DISCO ALIVE IN 05!!!!!

Hey TSG!  That's a great idea!!  I grew up watching the steps and only know a few but am totally open to learning more!    In fact I keep bugging my parents to teach my dh & I their dance routines but they think I'm joking!     (They have such cool moves!)  Most of my dance moves are high energy disco moves so it would be fun to learn more of the classic disco moves!    


Well with Blondie, Irma, & TSG leading the ad campaign there's sure to be more success!  You go girls!    I've been spreading the word too over here and some of the people are on vacation but they told me they want to go and bring their "Old Disco Party Crowd" with them!  So little by little I think this will grow!

Thanks Disco Princess, These people here and at Disco-Legends,Discoxpress,Afterdarkdisco have treated us with respect and I wish them the best I will lend a helping hand in any way possible.As SillyD says,Word Of Mouth Is Powerful

Tell your parents to come out!  I'm sure they'll love it and I bet they would feel that certain tingle in their heart.  Trust me I know! LOL


I know the old moves, the newer moves and the in between ones.  If you can dance either, then you will easily learn the others as long as the guy knows what he is doing.  Yup, we've got to the guys lead us on this.  hahahahaha...

I keep trying to get my parents to go, but my mom just laughs and says:  "I'm sure!"  but when I told her that their close friends Danny & Angie wanna come she said that then they would!  But they are on vacation...so gotta wait till they get back! 


I think my hubby will catch on sooner than I since I got so used to dancing Disco solo...I gotta break that out of my mind!    So is anyone gonna teach us to dance the classic Disco moves or what?
