Aye Blondie!!!    Even in times like this you still manage to come up with something funny that our mom's would do.

Stuff like that keeps me coming back.  We all have similar things that we went thru when we were all mocosas y mocosos.  Huh Irma?

Now all we need is a tornado.  Then you'll see my mom throw herself on the ground and pretend like her arms are a pair of scissors trying to cut that damn thing in half.  You know that takes away some of the tornado's strength.

No body gave me water and sugar, probably because we didn't have earthquakes on the East Coast.  We had hurricanes and them are also scurry....  My dad was a very very MEAN person....

hahaha...  We were lucky as kids.... we got alittle bit of everything, some times more of one thing.  From whippings with belts & cords to sugar with water and then some extras from dad.

My dad was way old and mean (not that much to me though).  He'd cuss the devil out of us and really hit us.  My mom would get pissed at the way my dad was and always say... "Aye pinche viejo cabron, ya es tiempo que se muerra."

I CAN RELATE. I COME FROM A TOUGH CHILDHOOD, I MEAN MY PARENTS LOVED ME BUT I WAS WHAT YOU CALL "UN TREMENDO". I WOULD GET BEATINGS FROM MY DAD PROBABLY EVERY OTHER DAY. I GUESS I DESERVED EM. FUNNY HOW MY MOM WOULD ALWAYS COME TO MY RESCUE NO MATTER WHAT I DID WRONG. SHE WAS NO MATCH FOR MY DAD THOUGH, BUT SHE DID A GOOD JOB SHIELDING ME MOST OF THE TIME. BELIEVE ME I'VE BEEN HIT WITH EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE KITCHEN SINK. SUCH AS ARMY BELTS, WATER HOSE, EXTESION CORDS, PEACH BRANCH, & THE WORLD FAMOUS "MEXICAN FLYING HUARACHE WITH THE TIRE TREAD SOLE" MY DAD WAS A NATURAL WITH THAT HUARACHE. HE WOULD NEVER MISS.
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? MY DAD TURNED OUT TO BE THE BEST PERSON IN THE WORLD. HIS GOLDEN YEARS HUMBLED HIM & I I'M SO CLOSE TO HIM. I GUESS EVERTHING TURNED OUT ALRIGHT.
