Well let me tell you in 1978 I was at the cross-roads to learning the Hustle. I went to dance lessons for 3 weeks in a row and I was so intimidated and I would just sit in awe as students learned the basic 6 step. The Pantera Rosa instructor said to me,"Every week I see you sitting there...why not get up and take the lesson?", well it took me 5 sec. as I sat there Oscar waited for my response. I said,"Alright", I was so escared not scrared..you know what I mean. Well after three weeks of watching the men steps and women steps....the lady dance instructor failed to show up. Oscar was furious. I said I know the womens steps. Oscar said then get out there and teach them....so that's what I did....my first dance lesson and I am teaching the women....Wooow.
You see in the next 5 sec. you will make up your mind to do this or not to do this. Like the Lion in the Wizzard of Oz....all you need is a little courage.
Well I decided in 5 sec. when I could not decide in 3 weeks....why....courage..my life has changed drastically....and you life will also change drastically. Why...because it will.
My friend who would go with me to the lessons chose not to take the lessons for $5.00.
We have had numerous requests for dance lessons on and off the message boards. So, this Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 pm we will be holding dance lessons from our home in our patio area IN THE CITY OF COVINA. In the future we will may also have them at the different DANCE EVENT VENUES.
We are forming the foundation of our hard core dance Hustlers. I don't believe Sylvia saw them. Sylvia rarely goes on the message boards because she has so much home work and she is so close to finishing her schooling before she starts her internship.
Because of the recent credit card fraud and hacking of credit card members information, security where I work has been tightened down for surfing and incoming files from outside sources. I can view private messaging right away but the rest of the message board takes a very long time to come up on all the message boards.
If you could let people know that we greatly appreciate the birthday wishes. I am sure Sylvia will respond soon as she is done having finals and will be out of school on Tuesday. We apologize as I have been very busy at work and the end of the month we work long hours that I have not been able to get on the computer at home.
I did not put anything on any of the message boards except on our home site because Sylvia would feel bad not being able to reply right away because of her schooling.
